On the other hand, organizations especially production and corporate sectors encourage those employees having better back door relations with sales tax and custom officials who knows how to make the way. This in turn harms the country for such practices are prevailing across the country. Similarly, lack of inspection services influx of fake especially pharmecuitical products has virtually worsen the situation further. On the other hand those organizations, though adhere to quality standards facing a lot of troubles to sale their products both in domestic and international product. Corruption, where it has harmed vary fabrics of society it has also facilitated negative methods to earn money illegally to get rich.
Modern statehood associates strategic, liberal policies, effective revenue collection and efficient distribution system, increase in exports against reduction in imports, attract foreign investors and many more. The rapid increase in population coupled with failure of compaigns for a comprehesive family planning has create forthure problems ranging from food shortages to health related issues. Now, even affluent families have started to think for their children food seeing the worse scenario across the world, especially third world countries.
Similarly, Trasparency international in its recent report has placed Pakistan in the fourty second place that is in the category of highly corrupt counctries. The report established this findings on various factors: lack of governance, unfair practices and massive corruption in various departments. Consequently, the country had lost credibility and was facing serious economic threats, poverty, inflation, food and electricity shortages and increase in unemployment. In the response, prime minister has asserted that Pakistan needed a good governance, transparent administration and efficient services to counter corruption scams of billions of rupees in Pakistan Steel, TDAP, EOBI, PIA, rental power plants, KESC, NIC, NHA, OGDC, PSO, PEPCO, CDA, DP Division, DHAs, TCP, NBP, PC and many other organisations. The political will of the government to curb corruption was urgently required and it must also be seen by public and donor countries, like formation of an independent accountability commission as required by the UN Convention against Corruption under the HOPO Act, 2009. It was really so bad to hear that global community has lost trust on us.
The government should ensure transparent machanism, check and balance system to ensure ccountiblity of every official in all ministeries. After all, this will reduce the miseries of the masses-the real origin of power.
